I was on deadline and about a 33% magnification -- I just never really noticed it. I thought it was a pretty darned stupid rule and ruling too, but I had to admit that they were enforcing the rules as written and equally to everyone.
Maybe if I hadn't oversharpened it so it made that halo under the dark edge it would have slipped by ... |

Twiddlingby GeneralEComment by Mr_Pants: Interesting image and good idea. I feel, however, that the thumbs, particularly the left one, are too motion-blurred. |

Twiddlingby GeneralEComment by DarrylW4: The photo comes across as blurry and low contrast. Increasing the contrast between the background and the subject might have been all that was needed to improve. |

Twiddlingby GeneralEComment by ccraft: You may want to increase the contrast in PhotoShop or in your camera. It's always good to have really white whites and really dark (as close to black as possible) in your B&W shots. There's a tiny bit of black in the lines around the fingers, but it's good to try to create some sort of visual balance between your lights adn your darks. This is unfortunately too light and there is a bit too much noise. You may want to try to set your ISO at the lowest possible. |
