Melancholic and moody, but the white sky and the centered static composition are making the image a bit (sorry) boring. And the building in the background is really distracting.

water drop is great but it's a bit lost in that setting - I know you need to be able to see the rock but you could still have cropped it closer - good luck

Very reminiscent of Lorenzo Costa a Renaissance painter of the Ferrara School. His images, while not exactly in the vein of this image, certainly conveyed the same impression that this image conveys. A beautiful composition and portrait of a stage of life that sometimes becomes over whelming. Very effective and powerful. By rights, a top ten image if not a ribbon winner. Well done.

The noise through this photo is a detraction from it. I like the idea you had for the image, and the composition is good. It is prehaps a touch too dark int he face as well, but that noise is the biggest problem here
