The Kingby Faye PekasComment by bclements: I really like this photograph. Like the color and composition. Maybe a tad deeper dof, but that is being picky. Softer focus works in this photo. I was relieved to see a shot like this in this challenge, not perfect, but has emotional appeal. Looks like this Lion could be in your backyard, not found in a zoo. |

The Kingby Faye PekasComment by atsxus: This is a wonderful picture, but I wonder how much better it would be with a little fine tuning on the contrast. Greener grass, brighter orange - though not TOO bright. Not to be fake looking. Just looks a little muted, and lifeless - and with a subject so stunning, that's not what you want. |
