First Snowby BAMartinComment by mjcecil: Wonderful scene. Could have been snapped at a higher shutter, though. Freezing snow in midair could do a lot for this one. Good luck! |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by Sonifo: What a fun time. The subjects are in the right spot. the lighting is good. I love the way you captured the snow falling. The people seem to bit out of focus. |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by jmsetzler: I like this quite a bit :) The slight left tilt of the fence slats seems to increase the sense of steepness on this hill... good shot :) - setzler |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by lisae: This is a very engaging photo. The way you used the diagonal element of the fence in the overall composition is very effective. It juxtaposes against the slanted angle of the motion-blurred snowflakes really well. It helps me to feel the pressure of the wind against the man and girl's faces. By positioning them far to the left, it draws my eyes to those details, and increases the pressure I perceive from the wind. Very astute compositional decisions :). |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by Manic: A good candid action shot, but the shot needs rotating so that the verticals of the fencing are fully upright, which would also make the slope seem steeper, adding to the action. The colours are quite muted, so the pink jacket really jumps out, drawing attention to the action, which is good :o) |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by crabappl3: They seem to be enjoying themselves. The snow nearest the camera may be a tad blown out. A crop cutting off the snow above them would make a stronger shot, so you only see the fence behind them. Good photo. |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by dimitrii: Cute shot, unfortunatly I, personally, don\'t see anything more than that. This picture has a feel of snapshot to me. The upper right conner, might have been cropped. Just an opinon. |

First Snowby BAMartinComment by HBunch: I love it...2 inches of snow, and they are out there already!! We wait till there's like 3 FEET before we bother with the sled. LOL. I like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen here. We are definately going downhill, definately a sled, definately snow. the picture if very clear here. focus is a tad soft on the people, however, that could be due to the fact that they might be moving, or that the camera is trying to focus on the snowflakes that are falling between the camera and the people. a very nice winter shot. Good luck in the challenge. |
