great action and timing to get this shot. The on-coming action ads to the movement in the shot. Only thing that may not have been feasibly possible would be to have the background a little more out of focus. 9

Excellent DOF on a an action shot. I feel like that calf is looking right at me and is going to come out of my screen to run me over. Good lighting too on the rope to make your circle stand out.

Grew up around rodeos and don't really care for them, because of what the animals go through. That's just my opinion and it won't affect my scoring on this shot. That is about as perfect as a shot like that can get. Love the DOF and how the dust helps to seperate the foreground and background. If you don't make money on this type of photograph, you certainly could.
