They're all melted!! Looks kinda sad and forlorn - the negative aspect gives it an interest that probably isn't as strong in the positive, too.

For what I know about negative imaging, this seems like the PERFECT subject for the process. Very cool image, great idea, and the processing is spot on to convey and share the emotion.

Conceptually, I like the way this verges on a field of high contrast lines in no regular order; it feels reminiscent, in that sense, of old-fashioned newspaper photographs - you know, the ones that consisted of collections of dots of various sizes. Mother has grace in this image, too - contrasting in its own way nicely with the obvious viciousness of the hunt.

This is such a cool picture... the kitten's face sticking out from under mama's chin fantastic. I also like the perspective you have used, with cats moving along a diagonal increasing the sense of movement...

I'm wondering what it is like in colour, is there a greater contrast between the cats and environment?

This looks lovely. The whites in the middle are my favorites, but they all look very nice. Looks as if there are many more. All made yourself?

(Seems you have the same irritating blue reflection as I sometimes have)

This is just amazingly sweet. The softness of a kitten perfectly captured.

This is really cool! The fact that there's the old building and the newer stuff in front makes me want to hear the story behind it. And what happened to that missing letter?

Barbara, what a great image. Fantastic capture of your subject and I love the way that you have done the B&W conversion so that the image does not lose any of its sharpness but still has a soft textured kitten fur quality to it
