Vby prperoldComment by Teafran: A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail in the foreground. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. A top ten image and a very strong contender for a ribbon. Well done. |

Into the nightby prperoldComment by cebuloulou: Beautiful shot. The sky is such a powerful image that it outdoes the tree, making the sky more of the main subject. |

South Africa by prperoldComment by prperold: Originally posted by akshut: No doubt!! incredible picture. Perfect timing, exposure, composition everything is just amazing in this picture. Just wanted to ask due to curiosity, since you have mentioned that you kept the camera on self timer so that you could have reached to take the position but there the surface was muddy and wet, so how did you manage to get rid off the foot marks that you made while reaching there.

I didn't do anything to get rid of prints, they just did not appear on the photo. I guess it's probably a combination of the angle, the reflection and the wet sand. |
