Love the photo - color is excellent. The only thing... I would've cropped the bottom of the photograph to eliminate the lower right corner. Takes away from the picture.

you have definitely met the challenge here, distortion is there, as well as transparency. however, your shot is very busy, i'm trying to figure out what i'm supposed to be focusing on and i'm having a hard time. would it have helped to look at a less busy background through the glass so that there aren't quite as many lines? (gr8photos - 3)

I was trying to show the transition in two ways the first and most obvious the effect of the fire on the land the transition from solid to smoke but also the transition from clear blue sky to dirty brown smudgy air.I took the shot at sunset to get light on the smoke and also to make it a more abstract landscape with solid blocks of colour and not much detail.
