I LOVE this image!! Deep mysterious shadows, perfect tone/texture on the snow, the figure just barely backlit by the solitary lamp. This is superb. It is not a standard "dpc-friendly" sort of image, but don't worry about that--this is great.

Searching...by himynameiserikComment by Melethia: I do quite like this, especially that sea of light he's walking into and the beacon above. It's a bit small - make sure that you have the long side at 640 pixels for basic challenges so we can see it well. Very nice shot. |

Searching...by himynameiserikComment by tanguera: Just too dark for me overall. The lighting is very dramatic, but the subject is too dark. I have to really strain to understand the image. |

Searching...by himynameiserikComment by Covert_Oddity: A little too dark for my liking, I like the idea but there's just too little visible.
Perhaps if the light in the frame silouheted the figure more it would be better. |
