I saw this on 1x Miles, it is a staggering scene. I'm looking at both versions as I type this and have to say that I think the DPC version doesn't quite measure up. I don't think it's just size either, the deeper coloration and higher sharpness of the 1x version are superior. I wonder if you didn't something different in your edit or we are just seeing the difference between a 300K and a 2Mb file size limit.

Having said all that - this is still a superb image and one that I anticipate will make the front page.

Woah! I can't believe this thing really exists. I can't tell if it's a mile across or a tidepool. Very neat photo photo. Well chosen shutter speed to capture the movement of the water into the well.
