Uninhabitableby jas0420Comment by slgardner: Nice tones. I take it the photo was desaturated? You left enough red to capture interest. I also like the lines in this photo, especially the diagonal tree. Well composed shot! |

Inspecting His Domainby jas0420Comment by LindaLee: Though I love your subject, and the concept, I really feel like I want to see much more of the subject and much less of the distracting elements of the shrubbery. |

Uninhabitableby jas0420Comment by justesme: Personally, I do not feel that this house is in too much of a shambles. From the look of it, it looks like it could stand for another 60 years; I would live in it if I was stuck for money. Perhaps a different shot to show an older more dishevealed area of the house?
At the moment, the subject is the tree, but it should be the house as the tree looks pretty healthy and living which is the opposite of desired desolated-feel. Perhaps walking closer to the house could have elimiated this tree.
However, well done. Good try =) |

Inspecting His Domainby jas0420Comment by Marjo: This is a pleasing photo to view. I like your composition but would crop it to just under the window ledge. The larger plants in the foreground distract from the subject. |

Inspecting His Domainby jas0420Comment by clues56: Cats do have domains, that's for sure! I would like to see more of the cat and window and less of the plants. Perhaps if you turned a light on inside, the cat would be more prominent. |
