If the shot was just the ribbons themselves I think it would be better. The frame, carpet and border dont add much to the shot in my opinion.

That's quite a collection you've got there!

There's a couple of things I don't like here. Firstly there's a strange red tint to the whole image. Second is the carpet / rug you have used as the backdrop. It doesn't add anything at all to the image and is just kinda in the way. Lastly is the angle, it's not quite straight on, but it's not really angled, it's just lingering in that 'in between' kinda area.

I'm sorry, the whole tone of this shot comes off to me a little oddly. Perhaps some different adjustments could have given it a bit more visual impact. What are the two things that look like whiskers at the bottom right?

I consider every comment carefully and then decide. This comment was much better than a previous "oof"! I could not,for the life of me, learn anything from that! Thank you for your comment. I do try to be a better photographer.

I liked the photo but didn't understand the light streaks particularly if they were intentional.. I thought that they detract from an otherwise really nice shot.
