Going Home

I like the juxaposition of main subjects here. The road can take on the symbolical meaning of a road traveled: be it home, leaving home, travel in or to a simpler time, etc. There are three travelers on the road. The car travels away off to the horizon while the two horse riders are traveling towards the viewer. To me, I feel the main focus/message is that these two horse riders are 'returning' home; back to less hectic lifestyle. They are turning away from technology (the car) and figuratively and literally 'enjoying the ride'. By going a slower pace (heh, less horsepower than a fast car engine) one notices/enjoys the surroundings of nature around them.
