Well that's pretty random. I guess you've got me beat as you at least found a real 'person'!

Sorry to say that, but I really can't see much of a conception in your composition. Let's get closer to your subject! Get rid of the distracting elements with a good crop and focus more on the main subject which is the lady in front of the computer. A good stoch photo has very few things on it, and all those things support the main story. Try to find the best angle which describes the story what you want to tell us and you will reach a much better result next time. Try many viewpoints, later on, you can choose from more. (2)

to much like a snap shot for your office photo album of "Who's worked here" To much clutter, blue cap, area should be staged...I think you used your flash...the palm is lit up not the receptionist...

Seems negatively affected by an on camera flash. The plant is harshly lit, with severe dropoff by the time it gets to the woman. One trick you can use if you don't have an external flash that can be rotated and bounced, is to tape an index card in front of your cameras pop-up flash in order to bounce the flash off the ceiling.

Not great as a stock photo. Lighting is a bit 'snapshot'-ish. And it's a bit too cluttered to convey an idea simply and strongly.

not enough light on the subject, too much light on the plant.

Comment by Schnitzer17:
There are several distracting elements at work here. Firstly, that plant, the paperwork, and the printer in the background. Changing the POV may have helped this. Secondly, the frontal lighting is harsh, and creates some nasty highlights. I also feel that the model isn't helping the composition any.
