Playfulby cup4tmlComment by Teafran: An artistic success, it's less than successful in a technical sense. The lighting isn't over done creating blooms, but it's not a sharp as it should be - if the image was crisp, it would be an excellant entry. Perhaps a different background with a slightly different angle would have helped and/or a preset focus or longer focal length would have helped. A little more thought would have brought the rating higher. |

Playfulby cup4tmlComment by tanguera: Nice green study. The colors of the water, the tacks, and the background really make this pop. Great lighting. |

Reflectionsby cup4tmlComment by drewhosick: Don't know if this shot really works. The bluriness, especially at the bottom actually seems more distracting than anything and the image is a tad abstract for my taste. |

Reflectionsby cup4tmlComment by Ja-9: good idea...well done, would a softer light source on the background have made this not so harsh? |

Reflectionsby cup4tmlComment by Teafran: A very creative look at colored pencils - the image meets the subject matter and with a certain cheeky attitude. A terrific demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge. Should be a sure bet to win a ribbon or place high as a top twenty image. A couple of minor detail problems not worth mentioning because they don't appear until you really get a critical eye and examine the image closely. Well done. |
