Blue Eyesby katlynComment by WILDBLUE: Very nice color combinations. Good composition. You might want to sharpen in photoshop it looks a little out of focus. Good job. |

Blue Eyesby katlynComment by amsmyth: what a neat bug and a great color repetition between bug head and stalk...more focus would have helped...if you had moved back a bit and gotten the whole bug would you have lost that or lost the emphasis on the eys? |

Blue Eyesby katlynComment by sn4psh07: He's an interesting little fellow isn't he. I like the composition of this picture, especially the angle at which you have the insect. The insect is also middled in the picture, which obviously makes him the main focus of the image. Your title also draws attention to the eyes of the bug, and it is nice to see that his eyes are quite close to a third to help draw your eyes towards the head of the insect.
On a technical note I would say that you have either had to zoom in a lot to get this image, or that he is a tiny little bit out of focus. It is either that or on this image you are going very slightly soft focus, which if that is a case then I apologise for my previous observation as it works very well in this image. Either way you have a great image. |

Naturallyby katlynComment by FranziskaLang: Great idea for the challenge, lots of different repetitions going on. Unfortunately, I feel you are being let down by the technical aspect of your image. The lighting is nice and even (no shadows), the colors are quite good, but overall, there's no specific point that's really sharp, crisp and in focus. Don't know if it's beyond the limitations of the camera (are you too close) or somehow due to OOF and post-processing. |

Naturallyby katlynComment by ChrisW123: Looks like a bunch of little "9"s. Pretty interesting. The picture itself (quality) isn't that good and looks a little out of focus and low lighting. |
