This isnt a cut at your photo (it's fairly well done), but if I see another close up face shot of a cat I think I am going to scream. It's too bad there are so many of them. My senses are getting dulled by the repetition.

This may be better with a different fstop. The nose is perfectly focused, but the eyes are a bit soft. Most cat shots focus in on the eyes, which are the primary feature, IMO.

Thank you for the comments, as my first submission I think I did overthink it and stage it a bit much. The round candle turned out much brighter than I had planned.

I guess what you are trying to convey here is that someone has just overdosed to end his/her life and therefore is eternally silenced. For me the image does not convey silence so much but it does convey that someone has attempted suicide and overdosed and is dead or dying. The mute switch in the background plays some role in all this as well I presume. And what is that brightly glowing ball?

There is a real hot spot in the image. I am not sure what it is, but it doesn't contribute to the image.

The idea is nice, similar to what I wanted. However, the big glowing thing distracts me also although the music player says mute I think this would be much more powerful if it just wasn't there.
