Oh..I like this. It feels very intrusive. Very abstract. Nicely done. For some reason I would love to see a color incorporated...but as it is..I really like.

Huh? Don't get even remotely how this depicts curiosity, which isn't even a habit but a state of being. Photographically, it's okay but kind of fuzzy.

Edited: Since you found my comment mocking and unhelpful, which I truly did not intend, I decided to ammend it somewhat, for clarification.

I do not see the connection between a hand clutching at nothing and curiosity. If this were a challenge entitled "Curiosity", I would still think it failed to meet that challenge. As it is, it is a challenge entitled "Habits". I do not agree, as you insisted in your angry private message to me, that curiosity is a habit, but rather a characteristic of human, and other higher animal species', nature; a state of being. One is curious, one is creative, one is easygoing. These are things we *are*, as in the verb 'to be'. A habit is something that we do; an action of some kind that is performed repeatedly, consciously or not (for instance, we can be in the habit of daily grooming and still be conscious of what we are doing).

Asthetically, the composition is fine. I generally don't care for thin, inside borders but in this instance I like how you made it seem as though the hand is breaking through. I found that the image was fuzzy and lacking detail. This may have been an intentional asthetic choice, as you stated in your message, but it does not work on that level for me. My opinion, of course.

Nice use of the border. However, I find negative images more "clever" than "talented". It makes it look like you are not confident on your abilities, so you rely on special effects. I inverted this, and it looked pretty good "straight". The overall effect is dramatic, though! And grabbing things is a habit I see a lot in my shop. So, an 8 from me.
