You've Been Down That Road, You Know Where It Leadsby Covert_OddityComment by Louis: I like this... you are stalking this person. Or the scene around this person. Or I am. Is it fine art, or street photography? I don't know. But unlike so many other photos in this challenge, this one has made me think about what it all means, and so thanks. (Technically, I enjoy the high contrast and lovely tones, and the interesting inverse frame around the person, and then around the "No Smoking" sign.) |

The Fairer Sex?by Covert_OddityComment by MaryO: Seriously underrated! This one was such fun and the framing totally made the shot ... which I think is a very good thing in a Framing challenge ;-) |

Considering A Change?by Covert_OddityComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Wow, this is great work - the immense DOF has allowed you to capture these disparate but crucial elements with equal clarity. The guy sat down with the flowers in front and behind balances the image so well; the lighting throughout is fabulous - I know you didn't control the source but I wonder how much of your hand through exposure selection and post processing we are seeing here. It all hangs together very well.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: A great shot - well seen, superbly executed and loads of story too. |
