hoo boy, more and more candids of people looking at iPods and iPhones... I guess I will now become the old man who dolefully recalls when people used to look at each other.

There is an element of humor to this, though. The main character is twisting away from the viewer, in her own world, and the title just imposes a character onto her because of this funny coat-blouse she's wearing. I like humor, especially when it's pulled from a candid, so I give you a 6.

I love this. Barthelme's Snow White, now of a certain age and, at some strange hesitant remove, texting. Barthelme is all about text, and she is wise to keep her distance. And the great secret about where in NYC, near tvsometime's favourite place, she has got slime on her boots. Barthelme would love that too.

But you don't have to know anything about Barthelme, or his Snow White, to appreciate this picture of Snow White. (And the younger and more passive Rose Red, like us, waiting for Mr. Right Scene to flash by). 8 for now.

I wish I was getting the connection on this one, but I'm not. :(

I like the awkwardness of the feet and the hand and I like the color palette. However, in thinking all the way through the story, I'm just not coming up with a connection (unless eating the apple makes you nearsighted first. :)
