I'm not much into poetry (that could change) but for some good street poetry check out Frank O'Hara's Lunch Poems -- poems written during his lunch hour in and around the streets of Manhattan.

The image is excellent. Quite a character study! The void to the right really forces the eye back to your subject. Nice framing too. The big square crop really works.

I'm torn on what's going on here I can't decide whether she(?) is at the end of a day where things didn't go well, or just about to start off on a long day she isn't looking forward to.

The location looks isolated, yet here you have a performer who you would expect to find in a busy shopping area or some other bustling part of town, makes we wonder about the setting in general.

Great capture, leaves me with many questions!
