Visionby parrotheadComment by samtrundle: This is definately a clever idea...I would have tried a squarer crop around the eyes and fingers (the nose kinda distracts) but still, a clever idea. 7. |

Visionby parrotheadComment by sblair2146: DId you try to crop this above the nose? Also this would have more impact if it was BW and the nails and eye-line be in yellow. |

Grand Rivers Lighthouseby parrotheadComment by snackwells: I think the lighthouse was artistically composed. A technical detail which makes this photograph unacceptable to me is obvious cloning evident along the right edge nearby the edge of the railing around the lighthouse. I suggest examining the image at 300% and with boosted levels to carefully screen for such imperfections.
Edit: The spot in question is just to the right of the bright railing. There is a circular artifact which may represent a stray healing/cloning brush stroke which I'm sure was inadvertently placed. The artifact is about 40 or so pixels in diameter. Very subtle but on my LCD screen it really pops out.
Otherwise I feel the image is exposed nicely with good sharp focus. The reflection off the water is also a nice touch. On second thought, this deserves a bump up in score. :) |

Visionby parrotheadComment by Art Roflmao: Interesting. The nails could've been done much better though - with some real, glossy nail polish instead of paint. |

Grand Rivers Lighthouseby parrotheadComment by Kylie: I can't get over the serene, ethereal lighting and velvety softness rendered overall without sacrificing any clarity. Perfect composition within the frame, also. |
