Light is from the wrong side to put the emphasis on the face paint, that also makes it almost impossible to get the right contrast/tonal balance.

i love the expression, but it is a little blurry. the black and white is also a little bit drab and grey - the contrast is not strong enough for this bold of a facepainting design.

Very interesting. I like how the background has little color. I makes the bird and hand stand out. There's also a great amount of detail in the hand, you can see the pores and hair.
