I like the soft focus and the desat. (Though I'm sure you'll get *lots* of cranky voters who don't... I know my current image is being said to be too soft even though I wanted the 'glow' effect. boo hoo.) Nice warm colors.

One of the best-ever uses of partial desaturation I've seen; turns the background into a photograph of the scene rather than the scene itself (or maybe it is a photo -- no matter), and virtually forces the viewer into empathy with the subject, off in a separate reality from the remainder of the party.
