Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by macrothing: 7 - Good shot. Criticism; whilst no 'expert' in the rule(s), I would like to have seen this using a stricter sense of the rules, especially for the Challenge. A tighter crop, or closer zoom, incorporating more (if possible) of the right of that rusted 'perch', more detail in the feathers, would have made this a better shot in my opinion. Like the colors and the background, just more definition on the bird, as you have in the 'perch'. |

Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by Prism: perhaps a closer crop to bring the bird's eye to the thirds focal point. nice clear shot of the bird |

Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by xylke: Great frame. The rust colored perch is a great contrast to the green background here. |

Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by rex: nice bokeh........spot on focus on the bird. Best in this challenge so far. |

Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by KarenNfld: Fits the theme, but technically the photo needs work. The background is grainy (maybe over sharpened?) and the white on the bird looks overexposed. |

Feeding Restby scrum8Comment by Germaine: I really like this picture and the fact that you have multi-tones of green in the background, not flat black or white. I love the contrast of the rusty metal with the bird's coloring. Minor quibble, to slavishly follow the Rule of Thirds, I think you should have shifted the bird and his perch over, up, and to the left. I think it would balance the picture better, but now that I look at the picture again, maybe not. |

Drink & Leaveby scrum8Comment by dcflyer: nice capture! Having watched my brother try to catch a hummer like this for hours and having no success, you've got some real good luck or a real fast trigger finger. Beautiful! |
