I like the concept on this shot, the darkened statue on the left and the mosaic cross on the right. The light is also well done, the shadow to the light but the cropping is too tight on the right, the one stone got cut off and left me wanting to see it completed. Also the dark shadow all the way on the left is also a bit distracting. A 7

This is good, I like the different textures going on here, the color of the bird and the background are very similar, however what makes this work to me is the texture differences, the softness of the bird againt the rough texture if the wood and dried brush makes the bird stand out in this picture, I like it.

I like the photo and how it ties in with your book title, but since the color tones are all the same the bird does not really stand out. Everything sort of blends in together which is good sometimes but not necessarily when you have a real point of focus like the bird. All in all it is a good shot though and I gave you an above average mark.

Nice exposure. You captured nicely the details in the shadow with out totally blowing out the sunny side. I like this and need to learn how to do it myself (probably need a new camera to get it right...) You image is a little tilted though. This is easy to fix in Photoshop.

I like the dove. To my eye, the blurred, bright background detracts from the main subject. I think it would be more effective if you cropped it out.

One of my top three favorite books, movie. I thought of this for a shot but of course didn't know if I could find a dove. You did and did it well. I like the tones and the composition.
