I like the fact that you wanted to use selective focus on the zipper whilst keeping the rest out of focus, but can't help but feel like the blurring was overdone and could be smoother. The contrast is really nice, though and I enjoy her expression.

This comes across as a practice shot for trying a new processing technique - the processing looks great, but the photo itself could probably have been thought out and composed better.

Wow. the beauty of the street snapshot is that the goal, some might say, is to first make it look easy. Next, make it look like a great deal of unlikely coincidences, meaningful glances and postures, and glorious details were put there by the photographer. To make it look easy and expertly crafted at the same time- you have accomplished that here splendidly.
