Francisby shetlandComment by HarveyG: Not vast amounts of back-lighting, more balanced with side and front. Great work study however. |

Francisby shetlandComment by kaiser_chief: A great Portrait of a mechanic, showing him in his surrounds. You have managed, through great placement, to make him stand out and be the subject away from the clutter that is normal in a garage. However, the use of excessive fill light in this image has removed any backlight or Contre-Jour feel of it. |

Francisby shetlandComment by claylikethemud: This is a really wonderful portrait -- love the detail, tones, lighting, the variety of color, and Francis's position (turned foot) -- but it doesn't use the technique. The lighting is clearly behind the camera, not the subject. |

Francisby shetlandComment by Lutchenko: What a brilliant shot. Is that a MkI escort on the right? That mini looks like it may be there for some time to come eh lol.

Francisby shetlandComment by leonedavis: great emotions here. unfortunately it seems the majority of the light is coming from the garage door behind you 5 |
