I love that there is one open locker. It could have been an average pattern shot with it closed, but the open locker makes it look like all the students ran out with reckless abandon- leaving dead silence. I really appreciate the dead space on the right making the room just a bit bigger/longer. One of my favorites so far!

Excellent picture, well composed and exposed. I have one very minor point though: There is something on the wall above the lockers (right third) which is distracting. If I cover the top 20 or so pixels up to blank it out I think the image is stronger and neater.

The idea is good and I like the grimy feel to it. However, I get distracted by the blurry light towards the end. Also I think if those lights in the back could've been off that it would be a nicer shot. BTW I love the open locker (:

Just surreal enough to be irrational. Just irrational enough to be surreal. I like the circular array of objects: the dark void; the brick wall; the shadow; the light (both compelling and dangerous, as befits a worthy attraction); and of course the mildly android-looking protagonist with the magical lipstick glasses. Everything means something here, there's not a wasted photon, and everything's connected to everything else. It's like a game of scissors-paper-stone in which each element of the photograph is 'stronger' than something and 'weaker' than something else. And happily, there is no solution; it's irrational.

The most interesting photograph in the challenge. I therefore give it a 10, plus the Order of the Thumb.
