Very creative and well executed shot and quite unusual too but somehow I just don't get a very strong feeling of silence from it. Actually I find it difficult to get any particular message from it even though I tried to connect to the title. A little too obscure for me. 6

A deathly silence here. Very nicely done and processed. I like that little sliver of moon in the sky. The tones are nice and darkly ominous. My favorite in the challenge. 9

So many "tape over the mouth" images in this challenge. I have lost count.At least you have added the headset which ads some sensory deprivation to the image and conveys some feeling of silence. Also the shot is technically well executed and composed therefore I give it a 6 instead of the 3's I have been handing out to the other "Tape" shots. 6

This image really conveys the feeling of silence very well. I can feel a blanketed silence where everything and everyone is asleep. No-one about....not even a footprint in the snow. Very nicely executed also. 8

I can feel the silence of the deep here but I also hear the bubbles escaping from the diver. It's a very strong image for conveying the feeling of "Silence" but without the diver it would have been even better still I feel. But it gets an 8 from me. Very nice image.

Unplugged sure but does that mean silence? I don't feel that this image conveys a feeling of silence to me. It could be just another product shot of a Sony headphone. Also the image is too dark and much of the detail is not visible and the crop is too tight cutting of parts of the headphone. 4

WOW! what a stunning shot. One of the best cat shots I have ever seen. Just beautiful and fits the challenge so well. I can just feel the silence oozing from it.
