This is the best in show imo. Wonderful composition - you made the music the star of your photograph. The light and shadow are a delight. And there is enough room you fill your own inner music into the photograph. Choose your favourite tune - doesn't have to be country or rock, might as well be Mozart or Mongolian overtone singing!

I’m glad this photo did well despite the missing title.

I was totally horrified when I realized after the rollover that I hadn't changed the title—what a mess-up. It was actually supposed to say "for past generations, not for future ones."

I like your composition a lot - the clock theme and the strings reminds me of the movie "Back to Future"
I'd love to see more contrast in it - but with minimal it is what it is...

What might have bothered some voters are the slanted lines: the building seems to tilt forward. But I think that’s what really gives the photo its true charm—that wink, combined with the title you chose.
