while your outtake is a nice picture it's just nice. I like this far more and it deserves more than a 4 or 5 imho, it stands out from the crowd with autumnal atmosphere
Maybe voters missed the vibrant orange colours ...? And I (gave a 6) would have rated it higher if you cropped off a little of the light upper part where nothing happens

Like Johanna mentioned, it's a pity that the horizon line isn't in balance. And the horse is too close to straighten the horizon in post processing wihout cropping the horses feet...

I like this shot - looks very much like our own cat
The detail you choose is just perfect. But the texture stood in the way for better scores I think. It evokes the impression that the original shot wasn't sharp enough and you added some filter to overlay it.
