The pictures start showing a "regular" beach and end up in a thought rotating view.
I'm not sure if I understood your message -to show pollution or diversity in appearance more extreme views would be helpful. But I'm not experienced in watching or giving my opinion on essays, I can only tell you that I like its otherness

When watching your pictures from Donggang I get a feeling what an essay can be: a documentary and yet emotional view on man and beast and environment. Something to ponder about in many differnt ways.
Even the technical aspect of the pictures is terrific.
There is a lot to learn for me, I can see that very clearly now.

I relish your approval on subject and quality and I agree about the number of pictures in an essay. You're right: it's hard to sort out... but it's necessary to get a stronger collection.
(Thats why I enjoyed DPL so much - there were my teammates who I could ask about their opinions before submitting)
