not really sure what it is with this, but I'll try to put it into words...to me either the lighting is harsh or your USM is over done and finally...this is not a B&W (not that I'm taking off for that...just saying)

you started with a very good idea...the shoes...IMO a tutu could have been a good choice...the flowers just don't add anything...for me...sorry

for me this does not fit my concept of still life...that being said...I do like the tones that you have in your conversion...not easy to do

really do like this alot...my only 2 cents is to have added more elevation to the jar and pitcher making your focal point stagger/displayed...just a little...(bear in mind that isn't hurting your score)
