"if it were me"...I would lower the opacity a bit more as the overlay seems to be "overpowering" the building...but on the other hand many people like the heavier look...

Overlays on Flickr...put it on slideshow and look when you can...it can be very interesting...I've come to the conclusion today that I really like what is called "Vintage"...

you can take all kinds of paths with this...it can be soooo much fun...

Find your light - outdoor natural lighting portraits

you had asked why...I gave you a 7 for this. Here are my reasons. The cutoff ear and the claw clip at the top distract me. Finally the whole face should be super sharp in focus, this is very soft in the focusing (IMO). A high f-stop and shutter speed should take care of that soft focus giving alot more detail to the portrait.

ETA: one other thing really bothered me on this...her hair color at the roots vs the ends (I'm a hairdresser) therefore it kind of stands out especially to me...sorry

I can not believe that this didn't place much, much higher in the FS!! (I know I'm a little slow here) But having recently gone out and tried to capture this stunning beauty I really, really do appreciate it alot more now...(I did give you a 10 in the FS) This is beyond stunning....
