I have come back to this one several times...ok, here it is...I really think that you could/should have gotten much closer for the macro side of things...this is a great idea but I would have isolated one small area of this item and really pulled that in tight...mind you it is not a bad picture, excellent focus, great DOF and your colors are not flat...

IMO (which does not count for much) this is not macro enough for what I have in mind as being Abstract Macro...good idea...but you need to get much, much closer

this is a good picture so don't get me wrong...but I have tried to block out the bottom of the tendrils and I really think that would have been a stronger shot..lots of blue tendrils stacked up...your focus is great...excellent choice of subject

excellent abstract, I just wish your focus were a bit stronger on the center of this rather than to the left side...as it is the center that is the closest feature of the picture...very good picture although
