look beforeby posthumousComment: I like how the lines in his shirt almost match the ones in the siding, making him seem somewhat transparent |

Le Clocherby MargaretNetComment: Based on location and pp'g, I'm going to guess this is Margaret's entry. If not, take that as a compliment.
This is a beautiful location for sure, with lovely light and glow. But it suffers from what so many entries in this challenge do, the lines lead to nothing. For me, "leading lines" is only half the equation. They must lead somewhere or to something at the end of them, to reward the viewer. In the case of this image, there seems to be a small arch, which is mostly in the dark. That is not rewarding enough for me. A couple kissing. A beach ball. A bird landing. A dog walking. Something. |

A Conversationby glad2badadComment: Finally, a leading line with reward at the end of it! On the other hand, half the image (and the "line") is blurry and quite uninteresting... |

the new colossusby daisydavidComment: Magnificent textures and colors. I love the lean of the pier, and the shadows of the birds. Not your usual leading lines, though |

Till the sea endsby the_rkpComment: So many things competing for my attention - the sky, the water, the structures, the pier. I think selecting one of these major elements, and toning down the detail of the rest might have made where to look easier |
