My Papa...The Tickle Monsterby bspurgeonComment: How lovely. My only gripe is that the light is too flat to the front, and their edges disappear into the background. One key light off the the side behind them would have given a bit more definition to his shoulders and the top of her head. |

The slow pace of timeby srugoloComment: Marvelous. A winner. Balance, shapes, textures, content, emotion, and the b/w really accentuates it all. |

Proud Grandparentsby SchmeldontinoComment: Fun mood in this shot. This would have been more powerful with less space behind them more space in front of them. |

The Old Song Man by SandyPComment: Wonderful! Love this shot. Would have liked to have seen him "playing" rather than looking at the camera, with both hands holding the harmonica. |

Turb -o- Man by WeJayComment: Classic shot. Very powerful subject, contrast, b/w. The horizontal lines behind them really work well to complement the lines in his head wrap and shirt. |

dear old nan & grandadby dainmcgowanComment: Except for the too much contrast, this is a great shot. In Advanced Editing, I'd have cloned out the creature between them. |

Oh Motherby HipychikComment: I'm sure she wouldn't be happy to know this, but the wrinkles create an amazing texture here. Very evocative shot, although I think the focus is on the hair next to her ear, making the focus on the eyes a tad soft. |
