This is an interesting shot, but bears little resemblance to the original, not a beer bottle in sight. Also, there is too much negative space around the window to my eye.

It always helps to show the whole cat :-)

I've come back to recomment since I was looking at the wrong original shot. As a result I've also bumped up my vote. Still think it's overexposed under the eyes, and the right ear (left on screen) blends in too much to the background).

The fog really adds a mysterious quality to this shot. Of course, there's a HECK of a lot more detail in this than the original :-)

A different take on the original, but I feel this image is flat, lightingwise. Some backlighting might have improved the transparency and the contrast in the fruit, and some depth in the drop.

If I'm looking at the correct original, this is indeed a vast improvement. Love the use of backlighting, nice silhouette, just a bit splotchy in background right above the top of the hourglass.
