Ok, is this somebody's model? I swear I've seen this guy before. Amazing detail on the feathers. Love the directional lighting, the very subdued colors, the red at the tip of his beak.

Hmmmm. I had to really focus my eyes to see this shot. Especially because the previous one was really bright!! I think this may have been a really great photograph, but it has been processed to the point of becoming a painting or digital "art".

Don't know that this is a good shot for a calendar, but there is something very eerie and interesting about it. I love the color, but am undecided as to whether the writing is distracting or enhancing.

The colors in this shot are shouting SPRING!!!! The lighting on the background is really terrific, and the intentional seam is also good. But I feel that the flowers themselves could have benefited from a touch of light or d&b. They're kind of secondary to the background right now.

Very nice work on the flower. I think the proportions are a bit off between the flower and the vase, and I'm not sure about the cropping. But the colors are very interesting.
