I agree with mycelium. There are some very strong elements here: the location is interesting, the harsh shadows, but it's too "clean" or "bright". I have suffered on and off with depression most of my life, and this image doesn't communicate the hopelessness I feel when I'm in that place. I think your project is a very interesting challenge because the problem with depression is the suffocating numbness, which you must communicate in a visually engaging way. I'm looking forward to watching your project evolve.
