Have fun in life and LIVE! by JudiComment: This is ribbon material. Everything is exemplary and contributes to this image, the pov, the pp'ing, the colors, the pose. The lighting especially is terrific, bringing out the brightness on the reds and on the face and hands of this harbinger of happiness. I am so envious of people who have interesting skies (although for living in, I wouldn't trade my blue ones)

Warmthby kprasad9375Comment: This is art. Gorgeous and dreamy. Wish the chair portion was a bit more visible (it seems more implied that actual). |

My mother by svavaComment: Stunning. A classic portrait with exceptional detail throughout the image (although the back of the chair appears to be "floating"). Masterfully art-directed (WHERE did you get that chair??!!) Her attitude is imperial and perfect for this image. My only grip is that purse. It completely draws my eye because there is just too much reflection on it (perhaps burning it a bit to take off the extreme brightness). Also, (and this is a minor nit), the left handle of the purse seems to be strapped around the button on her chest. Clearly this is an illusion, as the strap seems to be looped around her left arm, but what is that line that runs from the loop across her chest to the button? Front page. |

After Dinner Pursuitsby meneleComment: Terrific. The only thing missing is a lipstick kiss somewhere, on the collar or the cheek. Terrific lighting, but for some reason, the focus on the face is not nearly as sharp as on the chair and the hand with the glass. |

d'en hautby CoryComment: You have really captured a wonderful attitude here - coquettish, playful yet removed, like she's telling her best friend something embarrassing about you. My only gripe is that the floor seems oddly blurred and distorted. |

That Ride to Nowhereby ubiqueComment: Such a story here. Fabulous motion blur and the grain really adds a feeling of recollection. I feel that the crop is a bit too tight, especially on the left, making if feel a little suffocating, but I just love this. |

How Comfortable Art Thou?by denboteComment: Heartbreaking and oddly charming, with just a bit too much contrast to my liking. He looks like he's a handful when he's not pouting. I see this on the fp. |
