After the Fallsby rioloboComment: Beautiful lighting here, and the rays inside the box through the slats is a gorgeous detail. I feel that cropping out everything right of the right tree would have really improved the composition, and focused more on the scene between the crates and the apples. |

Otherwise, I'm not sure I understand this angle, since there is clearly a glorious forest turning colors on the right and just that really unattractive bush occupying a third of the image on the left. |

outlandby OllyDComment: Ah, to be a sunflower farmer. Surprisingly effective in b/w. The swayed horizon works well, and the lighting on the trees and clouds in fabulous. Great image, though technically more landscape than "country life". |

A grey day in the countryby westy10Comment: Interesting take on the challenge. I'm all about the pov, and I think a sharper angle might have given this image a stronger dynamic. Also, a bit stronger on the sepia would also have strengthened to mood. |

Country Windowby acoppolaComment: For me, this image is just short of really good. The composition and colors are very pleasing, and the reflection is interesting. But it just lack that "pop", easily accomplished here with just a bit more contrast, levels adjustment, and/or saturation. |

Lovin' Windmill Livin'by amsterdammanComment: What a great scene! I noticed the chickens first because they are close and colorful, then the cool fence. Then - surprise! - the windmill at the end. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore! |
