Gorgeous image. The b/w is splendid, as is the detail of the water. I wish this had been entered elsewhere as the desat feels forced to fit this noble image into a challenge where it doesn't belong.

Construction Barrier

This is one of those images that's so easy to flip by without a second look, and yet something made me stop. I don't find it particularly pretty, but there is something rather compelling about it. Maybe it's all the vertical lines, or the electric orange color. Or because the fence looks like a train, and each section is a boxcar. Or maybe the bits of people peeking out. But we wonder why this is blocked off, and follow the orange train down the tracks.

Terrific capture. I like the idea of using the ornament as a vase, and of course, the dropping petal is terrific. But for me, the overall yellow cast dampens the energy of this image. Undecided about the hard line between the yellow and orange at the back. You have a really nice gradient going at the top of the bg, and that would have been nice to continue throughout.
