Really lovely iridescent, airy atmosphere made tangible as if pasted to the canvas surface, which it is of course. Quite a coloristic marvel too and it seems to me a very logical extension of Impressionist esthetic given a modernist tweek. Or maybe it's just the fresh color that is still brilliant. I'm a pest but would like to know dimensions, date, whatever.

The "Light" is masterfully done. I'm guessing this is quite small and intimate unless you moved to large brushes - maybe 10x12 inches. Date?
