	Death of a Gull by Bear_Music Comment: The textures are all too similar in this shot to make anything stand out, this could have perhaps been rectified if the image had been kept in colour. Nice focus and the shapes are interesting but a bit too much the same for me, so a 5.

	Determination will either find a way or make one. by peter Comment: Nice sharpness, I like a well-taken moody portrait. :-) Highlights at and just below the temple are blown a bit but it doesn't grab my eye right away, so not too bothersome.

	Unfurling Tree Fern by yakatme Comment: The subject doesn't dramatically interest me (just personally) but the shot is well-taken enough for me not to mind. Good sharp details, I like the bold colours.

	Blue Suede Shoes... by thrumyiis Comment: Since the shot is all about the shoes, I'd have left out the wrist corsage as my eye wants to go to that. Good cropping and exposure though. The blue stands out well.
