The Winner by a Noseby kiwinickComment: Beautiful Cavalier and in nice focus, although I don't see a connection to this challenge in either the title or the shot itself. |

Lipsby mzapponeComment: This is a little soft but it kinda suits the image. That area of jet blackness under her chin totally pulls my eye in away from her face though, might have been better to include a light source aimed upwards, or to just have placed her in stronger light so we could see some detail down there. |

Always Good To Other Peopleby thomasjessenComment: While I don't feel this image portrays what the title says about her, it's a very pretty portrait, nice focus on her face and an almost tender smile. I'd have actually been inclined to call this entry 'Tender' as I could see the connection there. |

The Sailor's Handby Bear_MusicComment: I don't care for the soft haziness around the fingers, or the square crop (personal taste) but the shot is in nice focus, it shows interesting skin patterns and textures, very characteristic of a man who has worked with his hands for a long time. |

Lighting up the Room with my Smileby giantmikeComment: What a wickedly brilliant expression, haha. Nice focus, very cute; the wee red blemish by his eyebrow kinds of draws my attention, I might have cloned that out. |

lonely stoneby otto22Comment: The challenge calls for a person's defining feature, this is not a person or even a living thing; I wouldn'd count this one as fitting the challenge, even though it's a pretty shot. |

Ocean Eyesby ShawnaReneeComment: Not really feeling the colour popping here (just personal preference, I don't care for selectively coloured eye images) but my main issue with this is the dark shadow under her nose; it's not flattering on her and totally grabs my eye. |

Smile and Beardby lwoods13Comment: Nice friendly eyes and smile, good focus too. A few artifacts appearing on his shirt though, possibly from compression? Apart from those, I quite like this simple, natural image. |

My Redheadby vawendyComment: Simple and classic, a very nice portrait. The colour of her hair really stands out, as does the green in her eyes, although the whites of the eyes look a little over-whitened. One other little niggle would be that her necklace has turned around and is only showing the clip. |
