Bummer this didn't top 6.
Gave me the same feel as this shot , but not as intense.
I think pictures like this of cows and bulls can be pretty cool, I like this. I'll echo what I said on Simms photo here, as well:

"I hadn't seen this one before... and I was missing out. This is like the cow-porn equivalent of the rugged cowboy shot. Gritty. Excellently done."

This is the first image that came up for voting for me. out of curiosity, I'll come back after I finish voting and give my thoughts then, but to start with, I have a feeling I'll like this far more than the majority of the other entries. It is perhaps not fair for me to say that, but I'm just venturing a guess.
Nice processing, a slightly different take on things, and the light on the graves is spooky yet respectful and prominent. Very, very, good.

I've completed voting now, and this is still my favorite and highest vote, though you have a couple others that are also very nice. Best of luck.

Simple, poignant, well done. All the elements of the challenge, combined wonderfully together.

Great portrait. The intensity of his stare, the lighting and the vignette all work together very well. One of my tops.

I like the premise quite a bit, but this feels way overdone to me.

I'm not giving a very high vote for this, but I want to explain why. I view a photo's relevance to the topic almost exclusively by feel. I sit and look at the photo, and see if it triggers anything in me reminiscent of the prompt. I very rarely consider titles, and if I do, it is as a secondary consideration. To me, a photo should speak and the caption should echo. For me, personally, this doesn't speak Remembrance, or service, or honor, or anything pertaining to the subject. It has to do with what the photo evokes for me, and if I can construe that to pertain to the challenge. This reminds me of the ephemeral, and is gorgeous as a a photo, truly, but for me is not suited to the challenge without the title, which means the photo is not suited to the challenge. Would get high marks from me in a FS, but a 5 here.

This is a really interesting shot to me. I think when most people think Veteran's Day, they only really think of WWII. My first reaction to the powerlines and streetlight in the background was photographic frustration, but I lingered, and now I love their presence. The tree branches on the left I'm not sure about, but the powerlines really add a mournful note to this, makes the photo, the scene very matter-of-fact, forgotten. Solid 7 from me.

You've got some weirdness in the colors, but most notably in your reds.
