I might, just might, have boosted just due to the title. But, on second though, I also enjoy the inky blackness of this, so at the least you're getting a boost for interest and variation and not just humorous title.

This technique can be used much more effectively to depict the flag. This shot, sans title, would lend itself nearly more to beachballs than flags.

Flowers of this size are always so frustrating to photograph. It's a give and take for DoF, and it's always frustrating to decide which side to fall on and where. I like this though, you got a petal, the anthers, the drops. But I'm left stuck between wanting to see the rest of the flower and being happy with what I can see, to focus my attention. Regardless, I like this.

I don't feel as though the challenge is embodied by your subject matter. A nice tortoise shot, surely, but Water Drop this to me is not. If you had accentuated the water drops and only had the shot comprised of his carapace and the water drops, I think this would have been an interesting abstraction of a tortoise and would have rewarded it suitably.

This is somewhat bizarre. Those in the back look nearly zombie-like in appearance. Curious to to see what/where of this.
