Sunrise Colorsby rio78Comment: Your depiction of the mountains is great! I think that since there isn't a whole lot going on in the sky it looks a bit empty, and that even though this was a sunrise/sunset challenge, it might have almost been better to include a bit less sky. |

First of Decemberby wildirisComment: I like the small details in this. The moon, Venus?, and the fisherman are all smaller objects that add nicely. The line of clouds diagonally across the frame is nice too. I would've maybe liked this a tad brighter to bring out the beach a bit more, but it's still nice. |

My Sunlight at sunsetby cogeroxComment: Good idea for the shot. I think some things could have been improved in the execution though- the sky is almost entirely blown out, and the prompt for the challenge is sunset, so I feel like there should be more attention given to keeping some detail in the sunset itself. |

Sunday Afternoonby jimnessComment: I've always though that it's cool when people get the edges of the sun to be ragged like that. The color is so vibrant it looks almost like a sunset on Mars or something. The way that the different "rows" of trees fade into each other is very cool. |

Disaster at Dawnby kawesttexComment: This is a cool photo. I especially like the small water droplets/mist coming off the water stream. The smoke is also pretty neat. Unfortunately, I don't really think this is a sunrise, due to how high the sun is in the photo, so perhaps this isn't the best challenge for this submission. |

Face the Dayby dtremainComment: I really like the colors in this. If I were suggest anything, it would be to either keep the house as a total silhouette or increase its visibility, because as it is, it's somewhat in the middle, as is a small object on the far right in the foreground. |
